The photo line has now headed to the south end of the fill for more photo runbys. Engineer Tom Holder and the EBT crew did a masterful job of providing just the right amount of smoke for the photographers.

A bright yellow tree at the south end of the fill made for a nice photo prop. The EBT sponsors a Fall Spectacular each year, held on Columbus Day weekend, which is usually a week too early for peak fall colors. The photo freight, held a week after the Spectacular, was timed to take full advantage of the colors of the Aughwick Valley.

With the sun getting high in the sky near lunch time, one last runby was held just a little farther south. Upon returning to Orbisonia for lunch, an afternoon trip was to be held with photo runbys on the west side of the tracks. Alas, No.17 developed a couple of cracked flues during the morning session and was unable to be used. The railroad offered a diesel-powered freight as a substitute, but all the photographers were happy with the morning results and decided to head for home.
