The most famous bridge on the railroad is Halfmoon Trestle, located high above Highway 95. When the train runs earlier in the morning, the half-hour hike up to track level is worth the effort. But today, with the train getting to Halfmoon in mid-afternoon, the best lighting is from the highway looking up.

Just minutes later it crosses over Route 95 once again. Note the trestles high on the hillside -- the train crossed those about 30 minutes ago! Halfmoon Trestle is out of view to the right.
TT4011
