From the Parks Highway overpass, we see the train emerging from Moody Tunnel as it heads south.

From the other side of the highway, we watch the train as it climbs the hillside on its way to Denali Park. The train's consist is completely visible here, with the Alaska Railroad's Denali Star behind the locomotives followed by Royal Celebrity's single-car Wilderness Express, and Holland America's McKinley Explorer, with the Midnight Sun Express of Princess bringing up the markers.

SD70MAC No.4012 leads the southbound passenger train into the station at Denali Park.

After making its station stop, the Denali Star is only on the road south for about a minute when it crosses an impressive trestle.

In Anchorage we see Alaska Railroad No.1 on display in front of the station. No.1 was built by Davenport in 1907 and originally worked in Panama before going to Alaska in 1917.
